Bangalore: A case of murder of a BJP Yuva Morcha worker in Karnataka has come to light. The incident took place in the Dakshina Kannada district of the state late on Tuesday evening when some unidentified assailants stabbed him with sharp weapons. This happened when he was going home on a motorcycle. The assailants dragged him from the bike and killed him. After the incident, the BJP started a protest. In fact, the incident took place in the Kannada district when Praveen Nettru, district secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha, was returning to his home on Tuesday evening. Praveen used to run a poultry shop near the Bellare area. After working for the whole day, when Praveen was returning home after closing his shop, around 9 pm, the bike-borne miscreants attacked him with a sharp weapon. Praveen succumbed to his injuries. After the incident, Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai offered his deepest condolences to the family members of the BJP leader. In a tweet, he wrote, "The brutal murder of our party worker Praveen Nettru from Dakshina Kannada district is condemnable. The perpetrators of such a heinous act will soon be arrested and punished under the law. May Praveen's soul rest in peace.''
