Bangalore: Karnataka Congress unit presided DK Shivakumar slapped a party worker. His act was captured on camera after which the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has targeted him. In fact, congress leaders had arrived in Mandya on Friday to find out the health of a party MP when a party worker accompanying him tried to put his hand on his shoulder and slapped him back. The video of the incident spread like fire on social media. In the viral video, Shivakumar can be heard saying how this behaviour is in this place. I've given you freedom, but that doesn't mean you can do it. When Shivakumar came to know that the media was also there, he asked him to delete the video. He also said that he was angry at not following social dispensing. After the video went viral, BJP spokesperson S Prakash said, "DK Shivakumar's behaviour towards his own party worker is highly condemnable. He can't leave his old image. He is repeatedly indulging in arrogant behaviour towards his cadre as well. The party is led by a man who does not have basic decency in public life.''
