Bengaluru: Congress President D.K. Shivakumar said on Friday that the party's protest in the Assembly against Karnataka Minister K.S. Eshwarappa's saffron flag at the Red Fort remark will continue. He stated that the agitation would begin on Monday in all district headquarters and taluk centres. "We don't want Eshwarappa's resignation in this case," Shivakumar stated, demanding tough punishment for the minister. The word "resignation" is a respectful one. We are requesting that he be dismissed. We will no longer seek his resignation from now on. Eshwarappa should be dismissed, according to Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. When disasters strike, representatives prefer to retire on moral grounds, according to Shivakumar. Eshwarappa has disrespected the national flag by announcing that the saffron flag will be flown over the Red Fort. In a personal attack on Eshwarappa, the Congress leader announced that he will issue a call to all party workers in all district and taluk centres on Monday to begin the demonstration. "The BJP has no idea what the national flag looks like," he stated. Karnatka: Absconding couple detailed 7-yrs after murder Why hijab controversy not stopping even after HC's order?
