Karnataka Election 2023 Results LIVE: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is trying to maintain power in the state of Karnataka as the Congress mounts a serious challenge in the first significant election of this year. Vote counting is underway for the crucial Karnataka assembly elections of 2023. Looking at the latest trends till 9.10 am, the BJP is ahead in 114 seats, while the Congress is ahead in 98 seats, JDS is leading nowhere. The greatest voting rate, 85.56 percent, was in the Chikkaballapura district, and the lowest, 52.33 percent, was in the southern division of Bengaluru, the state capital. There are 2,615 contestants competing in the counting, which is taking place at 36 locations throughout Karnataka.
