Bangalore: Police in Karnataka have detained a guy for allegedly hacking a youth to death and tormenting his daughter in Bengaluru, according to police sources. The accused has been identified as V. Narayana (39), a resident of Vinoba Nagar near Kalasipalyam in Bengaluru, and the deceased youth as Nivesh Kumar from Tamil Nadu, according to V.V. Puram police. Nivesh Kumar, 19, had moved to Bengaluru in quest of work and was staying with his uncle in Vinobanagar. On November 27, the incident occurred. At 11.30 p.m., the accused Narayana allegedly witnessed Nivesh quarrel with his daughter at his home. Narayana struck him with a wooden stick after he lost his calm. After discovering Nivesh still near his house bleeding in the early hours of the morning, he drove him to the Victoria hospital in an autorickshaw.
