Karnataka: Another Muslim killed due to Shia-Sunni dispute!

Bangalore: After the news of the killing of a Muslim youth named Mohammed Fazil by the assailants on Krishnapura-MRPL Road in Mangaluru, Karnataka, surfaced, some media channels have been engaged in its propaganda. The communal agendas tried to prove only hours after the incident that Fazil was killed by the BJP to avenge the killing of Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader Praveen Nettaru. However, in the police investigation, something else has come to light.

According to police, Mohammad Fazil was attacked with a deadly weapon by 4-5 unidentified miscreants. In their initial investigation, police reportedly found that the deceased was killed because he was a Sunni Muslim and was in love with a Shia woman. The miscreants who killed Fazil were wearing masks on their faces. They all came in a Hyundai car and killed Fazil and fled by sitting in the car. However, the police are yet to confirm what led to the criminals killing Fazil.

Mangaluru Police Commissioner N Sashi Kumar confirmed Fazil's murder on July 28, saying the incident took place at Suratkal in Mangaluru City. A 23-year-old boy was brutally attacked by 4-5 people at around 8 pm on Krishnapura Katipalla Road. Fazil also ran to escape from the attackers, but he could not succeed. Fazil was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, where he died.
