Karnataka plans to make Bangalore an Int'l city

Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday said that, the State government is committed to transforming Bangalore into a metropolis with amenities of international standards.

"Our government is devoted to Bengaluru's overall growth. Construction on the Rs 6000 Cr Nagarothana projects has begun. A budget of about Rs. 1600 Cr. has been allocated for the construction of stormwater drains,"Bommai made this statement while addressing an event honouring Nadaprabhu Kempegowda's 513rd birthday.

Bommai further mentioned that the Bangalore Suburban Rail Project's construction will begin this year after Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently placed the project's foundation stone. "A Metro extension is being built. The city has undergone numerous beautifying projects, and more focus is being placed on enhancing the city's infrastructure "Bommai said.
