Karnataka: Speaker's important statement, no one's resignation will accept right now

Bangalore: The political turmoil in Karnataka has reached its peak. The resignations are also causing resentment among the ruling parties and two more Congress MLAs have resigned from the party on Wednesday. At the same time, this political scandal has further enhanced.

The names of mlas who have resigned today are K. Sudhakar and MTB Nagaraj. With this, the number of MLAs who resigned from the Kumaraswamy government in Karnataka has now reached 16 and 13 of them are Congress MLAs and 3 are MLA from JD(S). The number of MLAs in support of the government has now reached 101.

Karnataka Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar has said that I will not accept anybody's resignation, so I cannot do it overnight. I have given him (Bill) up to 17 and I will decide under the procedure. Also inform you that Karnataka government minister and senior Congress leader DK Shivkumar had arrived in Mumbai today to persuade the rebel MLAs of Karnataka. He was not allowed to visit the hotel and after some time he was detained by the police.
