LOS ANGELES: Actress Kate Winslet broke Tom Cruise's record for the longest period of time held while filming "Avatar: The Way Of Water" by seven minutes and 15 seconds. The typical human has a one- to two-minute breath-holding capacity. The 47-year-old actress who portrays Ronal in the eagerly awaited sequel submerged herself for seven minutes and fifteen seconds. On the filming of "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation," Cruise is renowned for holding his breath for six minutes. Winslet was so pleased with her swimming abilities that she snuck her husband onto the site during filming to record the scene. Speaking at a worldwide press conference before the movie's premiere, she said: "The only reason I have a video of the moment I release that breath-hold is because my husband snuck in. "I pleaded with them not to come because I don't want you to record. He sneaked in after I said, "Am I dead? I'll simply feel pressure, so please don't do that," she added. Am I dead? and asking, "What was it? "I immediately wanted to know my time." I couldn't believe it was 7.15, but now that I know it is, do you want to hear what I say next? We must have a radio set. The Avatar sequel marks Kate and director James Cameron's first on-set reunion since the 1997 smash Titanic. "I wanted James to know straight now, that's the first thing I wanted to do," she said.
