For international markets, Kawasaki has unveiled the all-new Z650RS motorbike. The new model is based on the existing Z900RS bike, however, it rides on a smaller 650cc chassis similar to the Ninja 650 and Z650 motorcycles. The bike is also expected to come in India in 2022. Other retro-classic vehicles, such as the Triumph Bonneville, will be targeted. The bike's heart is a tried-and-true 649cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that produces 67.3bhp of power and 64Nm of peak torque. The output is the same as that of the contemporary Z650 and Ninja 650 sports tourers. A 6-speed gearbox is available as an option. The bike shares the most of its hardware components with the Z650/Ninja 650 motorcycles, except from the powerplant. The front suspension is handled by 41mm telescopic forks, with a horizontal link mono-shock at the back. The bike's braking system consists of dual front discs and a single rear rotor. On the motorbike, dual-channel ABS is also offered as a safety feature. The bike has a vintage look with a circular front headlight, a curved fuel tank, split-spoke wheels, and a flat saddle on the outside. Full-LED lighting and a semi-digital instrument cluster are two of its standout characteristics. The bike is offered in three colour schemes in foreign markets: Metallic Spark Black, Candy Emerald Green, and Metallic Moondust Grey/Ebony.
