In the Indian market, Kawasaki has launched the BS6 version of its Z650 motorcycle in the Indian market. The company has priced it at 5.94 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). Earlier in the month of December, Kawasaki had priced his model at Rs 6.25 lakh. Now this model is about Rs 25,000 more expensive than BS4. Talking about the looks, the bike gets a new sharp-look and also features full-LED headlamps, an angular design with a redesigned fuel tank, a new 4.3-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. Talking about power specifications, it has the same 649 cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 8-valve engine which is now equipped with BS6 standards. This engine gives power of 67.3bhp at 8000 rpm and torque of 64Nm at 6700rpm. The engine is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. Now the weight of this bike has reduced by 3 kg to 187 kg. Talking about the suspension, the bike has 41mm telescopic front forks and a preloaded-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Speaking of braking, a 300 mm twin disc has been given in the front and 220 mm single disc in the rear. Kawasaki has given a single paint scheme in 2020 Z650 which is metallic spart black.
