TELENGANA, Mahabubabad: Ahead of the assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized both the Congress party and the ruling Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) during a public rally in Mahabubabad, Telangana. On Monday, he expressed that "Both Congress and KCR are equally responsible for Telangana's deterioration. Therefore, the people of Telangana shouldn't replace one problem with another - this pattern is evident across the state. Telangana's reliance lies with the BJP," PM Modi emphasized. He exhibited confidence in the BJP securing a majority in Telangana and declared that the state's Chief Minister from the BJP would hail from the Backward Class (BC) community. PM Modi alleged that both the Congress and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had failed the state, emphasizing that only the BJP could offer solutions to fix Telangana's issues. "The mechanisms and ideologies of BRS and Congress are akin to each other - it's like the 'hand' of Congress and the 'car' of BRS have the same direction. Both parties engage in religious appeasement, foster corruption, endorse dynastic politics, and elevate appeasement strategies," he stated. "Wherever these parties have held power, law and order have deteriorated. They've betrayed the Dalits and the BC community. Only the BJP is genuinely empowering the tribal and SC communities," he added. PM Modi predicted that Telangana would make history by overthrowing the KCR government. He pledged to launch investigations into the alleged scams under the BRS administration once the BJP assumes power. "The people of Telangana are gearing up to overthrow KCR's regime. Telangana is on the brink of a significant transformation! It is the BJP's duty to liberate Telangana from BRS' grip. All of KCR's corrupt practices will be investigated by the BJP. Those who've betrayed the disadvantaged in Telangana won't be spared," the PM affirmed. Accusing CM KCR of branding the state as 'superstitious' despite its blend of tradition and technology, PM Modi stated that KCR has resorted to verbal abuse after BJP declined to align with BRS. "KCR sensed BJP's growing influence much earlier. He had been attempting to form an alliance with BJP for a while. During one visit to Delhi, KCR requested the same from me," he disclosed. "BJP will always respect the aspirations of Telangana's people. Ever since BJP refused KCR's offer, BRS has been flustered. The party doesn't miss a chance to slander me. BRS knows that Modi won't entertain them in the BJP. This is my guarantee," PM Modi added. The Prime Minister is actively promoting BJP candidates in the state as the elections are scheduled for November 30. Alongside PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda are conducting public rallies and roadshows to garner voter support. All major political parties in the state, including Congress, BJP, and BRS, have intensified their campaign efforts before the conclusion of campaigning on Tuesday, just ahead of the polling day on November 30. During the last Assembly elections in 2018, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), secured 88 out of 119 seats, claiming 47.4% of the total vote share. The Congress trailed with only 19 seats, while the BJP didn't secure any. PM Modi Seeks Blessings at Tirupati's Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple PM Modi to Attend UN Climate Talks in Dubai on December 1
