KCR says Assam CM should apologise for his remark towards Rahul Gandhi

Hyderabad: K Chandrashekhar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, said on Sunday that Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma should apologise to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for his remark about his parentage.

"I have no relations to Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, or even his party." He is a member of Parliament with a family history. "The Chief Minister of Assam should apologise for his remark," the Chief Minister stated during a press conference.

Rao had demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Jagat Prakash Nadda to remove Assam Chief Minister  for his remarks about Rahul Gandhi on Saturday.

Is this the etiquettes  or our Hindu tradition to interrogate an MP about his father's identity, PM Modi ji? Your BJP Chief Minister was the one who did it. After hearing this, my head lowers in shame and my eyes well up with tears. He had stated, "This is not good for the country."  "How can Assam's Chief Minister speak in this manner?" "Holding on to patience has a limit," Rao remarked.

"He asks confirmation from our Army of the surgical strike," the Assam Chief Minister stated recently at a rally in Uttarakhand, referring to Rahul Gandhi. "Did we ever ask you for proof of whether you are Rajiv Gandhi's son or not?" he asked. What right do you have to ask my Army for proof?"
