New Delhi: On the 66th anniversary of Babasaheb B R Ambedkar's death, Arvind Kejriwal government of Delhi has decided to stage a grand play about the life of India's Architect of the Constitution, which would be shown at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium for free beginning January 5. This year marks the 75th anniversary of our country's independence. I'm going to make a big announcement right now. The Delhi government is staging a huge play on Babasaheb Ambedkar's life in a bid to bring his life to the attention of all children. "From January 5, it will be shown at JLN Stadium," Kejriwal stated during a press conference. "This play will feature well-known celebrities, 50 performances will be held, and it will be free to the public." Its manufacturing adheres to international norms. Perhaps for the first time in India, a government is putting in such efforts to bring Babasaheb Ambedkar's life to the attention of every youngster," he added. It is to be recalled that Babasaheb Ambedkar was an Indian jurist, economist, politician, and social reformer who battled against societal discrimination against untouchables (Dalits) and advocated women's and workers' rights. He was born on April 14, 1891. On December 6, 1956, he passed away. Ambedkar was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour, in 1990. Nitin Gadkari pays tribute to Babasaheb Dr. B.R.
