Kia Motors is planning to bring the sub-compact SUV to the Indian market to compete with the likes of Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Venue. The SUV, codenamed Kia QYI, was recently spotted testing in Kia's domestic market, South Korea. Pictures of it have leaked online, revealing some details of the SUV. This SUV from South Korean company Kia Motors will be launched in India next year. Pictures of the interior of the new SUV have not been revealed. However, its cabin is expected to be more premium than rival SUVs. The concept model or pre-production model of this new sub-compact SUV from Kia is expected to be introduced at Auto Expo 2020. It's market launch will be around the festive season in the second half of the year 2020. In the pictures, this new SUV from Kia is quite covered, due to which not much has been revealed about its design or styling. Reports say that Kia's new sub-compact SUV may be slightly smaller than the Hyundai Venue. The models being tested include steel wheels and silver roof rails and out side rear view mirrors. The new Kia SUV is expected to get a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with Hyundai Venue and a 1.5-liter diesel engine delivered in Celtos.
