Indian two-wheeler motorcycle company Bajaj is preparing to launch its first electric scooter Chetak. Also, with the help of Chetak, the company wants to provide KTM and Husqvarna a platform that they can use for themselves. In the coming days, along with Bajaj, Husqvarna and KTM, the electric scooter may take off in the market. Let us tell you that the sale of Chetak scooter will start in January next year.

First 2,000 electric scooters - This electric scooter can be developed and designed in Bajaj's factory itself. Through this, Bajaj is preparing to make a comeback in the scooter business again. Officials believe the company will make the first 2,000 Chetak electric scooters. At the same time, more scooters will be made later on increasing its demand.

What will be the price - Chetak, the new electric scooter, will be made at the company's Chakan plant. It is believed that its potential price may be less than Rs 1.30 lakh. This scooter will be sold in several phases. It will start selling in January next year.

Scooters will be able to run in two drive modes - Bajaj's new Chetak will be equipped with IP 67 high-tech lithium-ion battery. It has two drive modes (eco, sport). In Eco mode, it will cover a distance of up to 95 km. On one hand, this scooter will run 85 km in Sport mode. Bajaj has also included many premium features in it.

It has a fully digital instrument speedometer, in which many types of information can be seen. Tell us about the information that this electric scooter has keyless ignition and it will be fully connected through the app. The front of the scooter also has an oval LED strip close to the headlamps. It can get six colors option.

Will be able to charge at home - Chetak Electric does not have fast charging support. Its battery can be fully charged with 5-15 amp socket in 3-5 hours. Not only this, the battery of Chetak Electric cannot be removed, that is, there is no option to charge its battery from the scooter somewhere else.
