Kia Motors India has introduced its new sub-compact SUV car Kia Sonet. It is an all-4-meter car meaning its length is less than 4 meters. While Kia has rolled out the base variant of Sonet in the country with a start price of Rs 6.71 lakh, the top model GTX+ is priced at Rs 11.99 lakh. Kia Sonet is promising to make a tehelka in this segment due to its features and low prices. Customers can pre-book this car by visiting all official dealerships of Kia or the company portal by paying a token amount of Rs. 25,000. During the presenting ceremony of the same Kia Sonat, the Korean car maker said its latest offering in the country is receiving an average of about 1,000 bookings daily. Kia said that the pre-booking of Kia Sonet was started from 20th August. The departure of the persons on Sonnet can be estimated from the fact that more than 6,500 customers of Kia Sonet had booked it on the first day of the commencement of its pre-booking. Also, so far, bookings have crossed the figure of 25,000. As per the report received, sonnet delivery logistics indicate that a waiting period ranging from 4-5 weeks to 8-9 weeks is going on for this car based on variants. Petrol has the highest waiting period of 8-9 weeks for 1.2l 5MT HTE variants. Petrol 1.2 5MT HTK, 1.0T iMT HTK Plus, 1.0T 7DCT HTK Plus, Diesel 1.5 6MT HTK, and 1.5 6MT HTX Plus have a waiting period of 6-7 weeks. The remaining variants are currently available with a waiting period of 4-5 weeks. At the same time, the car is very spectacular.
