Rapper Scott Mescudi popularly known as Kid Cudi on Wednesday announced the launch of an interactive live music app. He is going to collaborate with screenwriter Ian Edelman and software engineer Jonathan Gray for the app. This is the artist-empowering app and allow them to can debut new music, interact with their fans and host live shows. According to the report, The artist-empowering endeavour, tailor-made for the pandemic era, is called Encore and sees Cudi linking up with previous collaborator Ian Edelman and start-up veteran Jonathan Gray. The app offers an alternative to current streaming models by empowering musicians with new ways to monetize their business and grow their audience fanbase. Artists using the app can debut new music, interact with their fans and host live shows. Kid Cudi oversee Encore's artistic vision as chief creative officer. In a statement, he said, "The energy from a concert is undeniable, both for the fans and artists. He further added that he is excited to launch Encore to help bring the live music experience back to our fans.
