In India, festivals hold an important place in people life. Individual celebrate every festival with utmost devotion. One such festival is Gauri Pujan in which the Goddess Parvati, the mother of Lord Ganesha also known as Gauri is worshipped. Gauri Puja is known as ‘Mangala Gauri’ in Maharashtra. Married as well as unmarried women both perform this festival. The married ones do it or the long life and well being of their husbands while the unmarried ones for getting an ideal husband.
