Even as the US-based Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warned that Omicron virus particles spread readily indoors rather than outdoors, a survey has come to light, which has found that every two in three Indian employees are in favor of work-from-home. According to the Local Circles survey, 58% of employed Indians are currently working from their workplace while 67% of Indians want to continue working from home. Something similar is being echoed by Konexions Group Chairman Nitin Chopra, who recently declared that work-from-home will become an industry in itself because “remote work is here to stay.” Under the Konexions Group, Chopra is Founder & Managing Director of Konexions Business Process Management Services Pvt. Ltd., Koncenture Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Konexions HR & Training Solutions, and Konexions Digital. The announcement from Chopra comes in the wake of the Konexions Group acquiring Tech Soft Corporation, the market leader in WFH solutions & home-customer experience management solutions. The Konexions Chairman even took to social media to share his views on the future of workplace with his followers. He wrote, “Working from home isn’t going to go away post-Covid. Some form of hybrid work culture will endure. This alliance will help us make the WFH experience unique.” On Friday, Konexions had announced acquiring a 100% stake in Tech Soft Corporation with a company release mentioning, “The acquisition will bolster Konexions capabilities in emerging workplace solutions and strengthen end-to-end CX portfolio. This will enable friendly, smart, efficient, and effective outcomes for consumers across the country.” Market experts consider this acquisition as a means to “augment Konexions’ position as a leading digital transformation enabler in the WFH Customer Experience Management domain.” Meanwhile, Nitin Chopra’s Group has also tied up with one of the country’s leading laptop brands to lease out laptops to companies as they ease their employees into an increasingly WFH environment.
