South Korea extends its overseas travel advisory till February 13

The foreign ministry stated Friday that due to the global spread of the omicron strain of COVID-19, South Korea has extended its special advise against international travel for another month.

People must cancel or postpone non-essential journeys abroad until Feb. 13, as per the advisory, and those who are already abroad should take precautions to avoid being exposed to the virus, such as avoiding large-scale events.

It was originally released in March 2020, and each month since then, it has been extended.
