Kota: A shocking case has come to light from Kota city of Rajasthan. A coaching student died after falling from the sixth floor of a hostel here late on Thursday (February 2). He was talking on the balcony with his friends. Just then his balance deteriorated and he fell straight down, breaking the mesh in the balcony. The student was a resident of Bengal. CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced. This whole case is from the Jawaharnagar police station area. Ishanshu Bhattacharya (20), a resident of Dhupguri in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, was preparing for NEET. According to the report, he lived in the Vatsalya Residency Hostel in the Jawahar Nagar area of Kota. He came to Kota from Bengal in August 2022. According to Abhishek, a friend of the deceased, "He was playing games on mobile in the balcony of the sixth floor with Ishanshu and other friends. After this, he was coming back to the room to study. While wearing slippers, Ishanshu's balance deteriorated and he broke the mesh and fell down. When I went down, I saw that there was a lot of blood coming out of his head.'' After which he was immediately taken to Pareek Hospital in Dadabari. But, he could not be treated there. Eventually, the friend died. The student was admitted to a private hospital in Talwandi, but died, police said. The face was badly damaged due to falling from a higher height.
