Mathura: After the disputed Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi, the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Mosque will now be heard in court. The Mathura court has admitted the petition for hearing. The petition had said that the Shahi Idgah Mosque was built above the Krishna Janmabhoomi, so it should be removed. The civil court had earlier turned down this petition. Then the Hindu side filed the petition in the Mathura court in a new way. Now, the Mathura court has allowed the petition and said that the civil court should hear it. The Mathura High Court has considered the petition related to the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah to be heard. The verdict was pronounced by District and Sessions Judge Rajiv Bharti. There are six plaintiffs in the case, including advocate Ranjana Agnihotri (who claims to be a Krishna devotee). The appeal was filed in the year 2020, claiming ownership rights over the shahi Idgah land. There is a dispute of the ownership of 13.37 acres of land. Of this, 10.9 acres of land is in the possession of Shri Krishna Janmasthan and 2.5 of land is in the possession of Shahi Idgah Mosque. The suit was filed by the top court's advocates Harishankar Jain, Vishnu Shankar Jain and Ranjana Agnihotri. The dispute of Kashi and Mathura is also somewhat similar to Ayodhya. Hindus claim that in Kashi and Mathura, Aurangzeb demolished the temple and got the mosque built there. Aurangzeb had demolished the Vishwanath temple in Kashi in 1669 and issued a decree to demolish the temple of the saffron Keshavdev in Mathura in 1670. After this, the Gyanvapi Mosque in Kashi and the Shahi Idgah Mosque in Mathura were built. The discussion of the dispute in Mathura began last year when the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha announced to install a statue of Lord Krishna inside the Idgah Mosque and perform Jal Abhishek of it. However, the Hindu Mahasabha could not do so. Then in the Uttar Pradesh elections, it is 'Mathura's turn... Slogans like "like that were also going on.
