TELENGANA: The state government of Telangana has issued GO No. 118 for the regularisation of lands up to 1000 square yards in LB Nagar and five other Assembly Constituencies, according to Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister KT Rama Rao's announcement on Wednesday. Thousands of families who have endured hardship for nearly 15 years will receive relief as a result of the ruling. KTR stated that the names of the colonies whose names are missing from the list will be added to the GO while speaking at the "Mana Nagaram" gathering held in LB Nagar's Saroornagar Stadium. Residents and representatives of the 44 colonies in the six Assembly Constituencies shouted when KTR read out the order's finer details. He stated that the modest fee for regularisation will be Rs 250 per square yard. "Since 2007, people have been raising concerns about the regularisation of their land. The problem made it difficult to conduct business there, send kids overseas for school, and reach other significant life milestones. They brought it to the attention of several Chief Ministers, "explained KTR. The Minister noted that a meeting regarding this took place in 2018 at the LB Nagar Zonal Office. D Sudheer Reddy, L.B. Nagar MLA, and other members of the public praised Minister KTR and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for having numerous meetings to discuss the problem and finding a solution. KTR listed the projects completed in the LB Nagar district during the last few years, including the Rs 1200 crores spent on flyovers and underpasses and the Rs 113 crores allotted for the Strategic Nala Development Program (SNDP). He pledged to handle any other problems that residents of the district may have.
