New Delhi: Samsung has launched its much-awaited Galaxy S23 series in India and other international markets. The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra are the three models in the lineup; They all have 120Hz displays, the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and better cameras than their predecessors. The phones are now available for pre-order and will go on sale starting February 17. After months of rumors and leaks, Samsung's flagship S23 series has finally been launched in India. The S23 and S23+ feature 6.1-inch and 6.6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screens respectively with 48 to 120Hz refresh rate, while the S23 Ultra sports a 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen with 1 to 120Hz refresh rate. The quad-camera module on the S23 Ultra model includes a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and two 10MP telephoto cameras. The phones launch One UI 5.1, which is based on Android 13. The S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra pack 3,900mAh, 4,700mAh, and 5,000mAh battery capacities, respectively. While the Plus and Ultra models support 45W fast-charging, the vanilla model only supports 25W wired fast-charging. The base 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB variants of the Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra are priced at Rs. 74,999 for Rs. 94,999, and Rs. 1,24,999 respectively. All three smartphones will be available for purchase starting February 17 in lavender, phantom black, cream and green colours.
