Leander Paes's wife Rhea is a victim of domestic violence, court ordered this

Mumbai's Bandra court has delivered its verdict in the domestic violence case of legendary tennis player Leander Paes and his wife Rhea Pillai. In his judgment, the Metropolitan Magistrate has found that Leander Paes' wife Gherlu has been a victim of violence. The court had also given Rhea Pillai the option not to stay with Leander Paes. In such a situation, Paes will have to pay 1.5 lakh rupees every month for the rent and sustenance of Rhea's house.

If the news is to be believed, then in the event of a different stay, Leander will have to pay Rs 50,000 for the rent of the house for Rhea and Rs 1 lakh for maintenance every month. If Rhea wants to live in the same house, then she is not entitled to. The court has said that Leander Paes' tennis career is almost over. In such a situation, it is not going to be justified for him to have a separate rented house and also to give maintenance to Rhea. The decision was pronounced by Metropolitan Magistrate Komal Singh Rajput. Rhea had also accused Leander of financial harassment against herself.

The court ordered Paes to pay Rs 1 lakh to Rhea for a legal battle and other expenses. Along with this, Leander may also have to bear the expenses of his daughter's education and other necessary expenses. The court has rejected Rhea's demand for maintenance and division of the house in the past. The court's decision comes seven years after Rhea filed a domestic violence case against Leander Paes. Leander's father Wes Paes was also charged by Rhea. Rhea had claimed that she and Leander had been in a living relationship since 2003 and had a daughter from this relationship in 2006.

In response to Rhea's allegations, Leander Paes made his plea in court. Where in this regard, he has said that "Rhea is not entitled to get maintenance. In the midst of a live-in relationship, she was married. She married Sanjay Dutt in 2008 in which they could not even get divorced. Leander wasn't even aware of that. Rhea had called Leander's allegations false and told them to have all the information. The court also did not consider Leander's allegations to be correct. According to the court, "It does not seem possible that Paes has not been informed of such a big case. Leander and Rhea's relationship cannot be denied.''
