New Delhi: There is great news for the fans who are eagerly waiting for the 15th season of IPL 2022. The IPL is set to start this time from Saturday, March 26, which will be played at a total of 4 venues in Mumbai and Pune till May 29. The biggest news for fans is that spectators have been allowed to come to the stadiums during the match. However, initially, only 40 per cent of the stadium's total capacity will be able to watch the match.

If even later the situation of the corona epidemic remains under control and the cases decrease, then the number of spectators can be increased further later. However, as per the guidelines of the Maharashtra government on the entry of spectators, steps will continue to be taken from time to time. A total of 10 teams are participating in this league this time. The IPL's governing council met on Thursday. After the meeting, IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel said, "IPL 2022 will start from Saturday, March 26. This time it has been decided that 74 matches will be played at the DY Patil Ground in Navi Mumbai and the Gahunje Stadium in Pune, including the Wankhede Stadium and the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai." 

Let us know that this time two new teams Lucknow Supergiants and Gujarat Titans have been included in the Indian Premier League. A source said, "Spectators will be allowed only as per the guidelines issued by the Maharashtra government and initially it will be 40 per cent of the stadium's capacity. If the Corona situation remains under control and the cases come down, the number of spectators can be increased to 100 per cent at the end of the tournament."
