LG Electronics has made a significant stride in its upcoming internal System-on-chip (SoC) development by selecting VeriSilicon's highly efficient GCNanoUltraV 2.5D GPU, as announced by VeriSilicon itself. The adoption of VeriSilicon’s GPU aims to empower LG’s forthcoming SoC, catering to diverse applications and promising captivating graphic capabilities. VeriSilicon's Vivante GCNanoUltraV 2.5D GPU is characterized by its compact design and leverages the VGLite API driver, supporting the renowned Light and Versatile Graphics Library (LVGL). This integration enables the creation of visually stunning user interfaces across a wide spectrum of hardware platforms. Furthermore, the GCNanoUltraV 2.5D GPU extends its support to Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) through VeriSilicon’s SvgVGLiteRenderer tool. This tool efficiently processes SVG files and renders their content utilizing the VGLite API.
