In fact, a post went viral on social media stating that gays are not being allowed into Virat Kohli's restaurant called One8 Commune in Pune, Delhi and Kolkata. After the post went viral, there has been an uproar on social media. Users on Twitter and Instagram have started targeting Virat Kohli. The trolls have targeted them. Some users have also termed it as fake. However, the restaurant has later cleaned itself of One8 Commune. After the same social media post, the restaurant clarified, "We are engaged in the service of people without any gender and bias. We are engaged in the service of the community, according to our name. We have a ban on stag entry. It is only for the safety of women. This does not mean that we are against any community or hurting anyone. Virat Kohli has given up the captaincy of the T20 cricket team.
