Lightning falls on Dwarkadhish temple, damages Flag only... See amazing Video

Ahmedabad: Lightning struck the flag rod of the Dwarkadhish temple in Dwarka, Gujarat on Tuesday, damaging the 52-yard flag of the temple. However, there was no damage to the Dwarkadhish temple in the accident. However, the walls of the temple have turned black. The incident occurred around 2:30 pm on Tuesday. The video of lightning on the flag is going viral on social media.

 

 

There is a dense settlement around the temple. It is being reported that if lightning struck the residential area, there could have been a big loss. Dwarka DM ND Bhataria said, "It started raining heavily between 2 pm and 2.30 pm with thunder. Meanwhile, lightning has fallen with rain. The lightning fell on the flag rod of the Dwarkadhish temple, which damaged the flag as soon as the flag exploded." Union Home Minister Amit Shah also spoke to the temple administration over the phone about the lightning at the Dwarkadhish temple. The Home Minister has also taken merchandise of the damage to the temple.

The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall with strong winds till July 14 in some areas along the coast of Gujarat. The department has warned fishermen not to enter the Arabian Sea. The Ahmedabad Centre in IMD has predicted a sea wave of 2.5-3.6 meters in the coastal region of north Gujarat between Jakhu and Diu. The MET department said, 'Wind speed is expected to reach 45-55 kmph to 65 kmph on the northern and southern coasts of Gujarat and North Arabian Sea from July 11 to 14.'
