ISLAMABAD: In Pakistan's Kohsar town, a young girl was kidnapped, assaulted, and then burned to death. According to The News, her body was found in a water tank at one of the residences in the town on Old Kirpa Road, which is under the control of the Kirpa Police Station. The victim's Mardan-born father filed a complaint with the Kirpa Police Station alleging that his daughter, who was seven years old, went to a neighbor's home with her family, which also included her mother, grandmother, and sister, to attend Quran Khwani. After a while, the family became aware that she was missing and began to hunt for her with the assistance of the neighborhood. After some time, though, the family started to detect a bad stench emanating from their neighbor's roof, where they were attending the Quran Khwani, and they also discovered a burnt cot there. The complainant told the police that his wife also witnessed the neighbor's daughter leaving an unfinished house next door with a stranger. According to The News, the family hurried to the unfinished house where they discovered their daughter's burned remains laying in a water tank. To corroborate the rape crime, the police moved the body to the hospital for a post-mortem. Four suspects, including a girl, have been detained by the police, who have promised to apprehend the murderers within the next few hours.
