Agra: All the monuments including Taj Mahal, Agra Fort were blocked in Agra for control of COVID-19 epidemic. The recovery rate of COVID-19 virus infectives in Agra is steadily increasing. Collector Prabhu N Singh has issued orders to open the monuments other than the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort from September 1 on Thursday. The locks of the monuments which have been closed since March, will be open from September 1. Fatehpursikari, Etmaduddaula, Sikandra etc. memorials will be open from September 1. The DM tweeted and informed that after the directive issued by the Central Government, orders have been given to exclude the other monuments in Agra from the buffer zone except the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. All the historical monuments of Agra will now be open from the coming September. However, these memorials will also be blocked on Saturday and Sunday weekly captive days. This decision has been taken in view of the Corona cases. On the other hand, another patient has been given life by plasma therapy in the state. He was brought to Hallet from a private hospital in critical condition. His condition was deteriorating. His condition improved after plasma therapy and he was discharged from the hospital. This has been the first patient to come to Halat for plasma therapy from a private hospital. This is the third patient in the Blood Transfusion Department of GSVM Medical College who has been properly discharged.
