The Lord Ram idol which has been placed at the Ayodhya Temple was revealed today, ahead of the consecration ceremony scheduled for Monday. The 51-inch idol portrays Lord Ram as a five-year-old standing figure, adorned with a golden bow and arrow, and carved from black stone. As part of the buildup to the consecration ceremony, the temple authorities gradually revealed the complete idol over two days. While photos of the idol being placed inside the sanctum sanctorum were released on Thursday, it remained concealed under a cloth. Crafted from black stone by the skilled hands of Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj, the 51-inch idol underwent a gradual revelation by the temple authorities ahead of the consecration ceremony. On Thursday, images were released, capturing the moment when the idol was delicately positioned inside the sanctum sanctorum. However, during this unveiling, it remained veiled under a cloth, adding an air of suspense and reverence to the event. The temple consecration rituals commenced on January 12, with sources indicating that PM Modi will perform the "Pran Pratistha" puja on January 22.
