Plant owner returned oxygen truck carrying oxygen from Bokaro, know why

New Delhi: Liquid oxygen has been transported from Bokaro in Lucknow following an order from the Modi government at the Centre. But when the oxygen reached the plant at Nadarganj in Lucknow, the owner of the plant refused to take oxygen. According to reports, a liquid oxygen truck had reached Lucknow from Bokaro in Lucknow. The truck was then transported for liquid oxygen near Murari Oxygen Plant in Sarojini Nagar, but Murari oxygen plant refused to take the liquid tank and returned it.

However, two tanks came from Bokaro and they had a little liquid taste at various oxygen plants. But the Murari oxygen plant refused to take liquid oxygen. According to Abhishek, manager of Murari oxygen gas plant, there was no written information from the government on how long oxygen would be available. But we had to supply oxygen to people, so we had already ordered a liquid oxygen truck. We had already made our arrangements, he said. So the government returned the income truck and built the oxygen plant from its own fitted truck and started manufacturing oxygen.

The State government is taking major steps to supply oxygen in UP. Oxygen tankers have been ordered to Lucknow through the train from Bokaro in view of the lack of oxygen. Railways say about 16 tonnes of oxygen can be transported to every tanker of 'Oxygen Express' trains. On the other hand, CM Yogi has taken several important decisions including setting up new plants for oxygen supply, talking to the Centre.
