Chief Minister Yogi will start polio campaign 2021 from today

Lucknow: CM Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh, the country's largest state, will start the polio campaign for the year 2021 today. In a short time, Chief Minister Yogi will give polio drops to children in the Women's Hospital, Veerangana Avanti Bai of Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi tweeted and said, 'Polio National Immunization Day' is being celebrated all over India today. The state joins the national polio vaccination campaign and makes them aware of polio.

As a result of the polio campaign, 3 crores of 40 lakh children will be given medicine in UP. Director-General of the Department of Family Welfare, Dr. Rakesh Dubey has told that one lakh 10 thousand polio booths have been built in the state. Here, mothers can bring their babies and give them medicine. The children of the Health Department will give them door-to-door medicine for children who will not be able to go to the polio booth for any reason. For this, 69 thousand teams have been formed.

On the other hand, 4,63,793 health workers have been vaccinated in the state. Subsequently, 3,26,745 health workers have been vaccinated in Rajasthan, 3,15,343 in Karnataka, 2,73,872 in Madhya Pradesh, and 2,69,064 in Maharashtra. India has not only achieved the fastest target of vaccinating 10 lakh people, but the country has also stood first in terms of vaccination of 20 lakh and 3 million people.
