Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow, police have busted a gang that lured minor girls from outside states and engaged them in jismafaroshi work. Lucknow police have arrested five members of the gang. Two of these five people are women and three are men. The gang, which has been trafficking human beings from various states, has been sent behind bars by the police and is taking further action. According to media reports, police had received information that some people were standing with women and waiting for someone in Vipulkhand in Gomtinagar. All of them were suspects who are probably standing there for their customer. Lucknow police rushed to the spot on receiving the information. When the police tried to talk to the men, they tried to escape, after which the police cordoned them off and caught them. All five people were arrested by the police. According to Police Commissioner DK Thakur, "These people used to bring minor girls from Assam to Lucknow in their faith and keep them with them for a few days. They were then sent for human trafficking and forced to do flesh trade. The gang also includes 2 women and 3 men. Further action is currently being taken by sending all of them to jail.
