Kochi: BJP leader Smriti Irani, who created history by defeating Rahul Gandhi from the Amethi Lok Sabha seat, which is considered a Congress stronghold in Uttar Pradesh, has reached Wayanad, Kerala on May 3. In the 2014 elections, Smriti Irani gave a tough challenge to Rahul Gandhi in Amethi. And even after losing the election, Irani did not stop campaigning. Smriti Irani worked hard on the ground, the effect of which was seen in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections after five years.
