Dehradun: UP CM Yogi Adityanath reached Panchur in his native village Yamkeshwar on Tuesday. He will unveil the statue of his guru Mahant Avadyanath ji in the Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Government College campus located in Bithyani, about 3 km from Panchur. After the unveiling ceremony, he will go home to meet mother Savitri Devi and family members. The family members are excited as the son reaches the village.

On the arrival of UP CM Yogi Adityanath at Jolly Grant airport on Tuesday, the Minister of Finance, Urban Development and Housing, Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs, Reorganization and Census, Shri Premchand Agrawal welcomed him. Thereafter, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath left for Yamkeshwar by helicopter. Let us tell you that CM Yogi Adityanath reached Uttarakhand on Tuesday for a three-day tour. On Tuesday, he will inaugurate the idol of his guru Avaidyanath at Bithyani under Yamkeshwar block of Pauri (Garhwal) district.

This is Yogi's first visit to Uttarakhand after becoming the Chief Minister for the second time. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat were also present on this occasion. Yogi Adityanath's younger brother Mahendra Bisht said that his main function is in the college. Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 2004-05 as there was no institute for higher education in Yamkeshwar. After this the college decided the journey from provincialization to statehood. Family members told that Yogi Adityanath had visited the village once before becoming the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2017. After becoming the Chief Minister, he came to Uttarakhand many times, but could not come to the village.
