Bhopal: A case of rape of a two-year-old innocent girl has been reported in a village under Jamora police station area of Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh. The police have registered a case against the accused. The girl has been admitted to the hospital. This is the second case of within six months in the Jamora area. Earlier in April, a six-year-old innocent was raped and her eyes were injured. According to the information, the young man is accused of raping a tribal girl. He had reached the home of the girl in the evening being drunk. The mother of the girl went to the market to buy vegetable, meanwhile, the accused raped the innocent and escaped before her mother returned home. When the mother of the child came home, the girl was found crying in the injured state. When the father reached home, the girl reached the police station and reported the incident. The girl was then shifted to the hospital. Police arrested the accused late in the night from Jhau village about 10 km away from Jamora. On receipt of information, DIG Ravi Shankar Deharia of Sagar Range reached the village of the victim and enquired about the incident. DIG said that a two-year-old girl was raped by an unknown relative. He said the accused is related to the first wife of the father of the child.
