MP by-election: Kamal Nath accuses BJP of horse-trading, Mishra says 'Show evidence'

Bhopal: The Congress unit president of Madhya Pradesh and former CM of the state, Kamal Nath, today accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of starting a bargain politics and said that in the by-election, the BJP was scared of supporting the truth and its possible defeat. The politics of bargaining has come down again.

Reacting to this, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that former CM Kamal Nath's allegation of bargaining with MLAs is a sign of his frustration. Mishra responded to Kamal Nath's statement through a tweet and said that if he has any evidence, he should present it. Narottam Mishra said that in reality the Congress MLAs have lost their trust in him. Mishra said that at the Congress Legislature Party meeting on November 11, Kamal Nath would farewell from the state.

Kamal Nath has said in his statement that he is constantly getting information from Congress MLAs and Independents that BJP people are contacting him and giving many kinds of inducements. He said that the BJP should understand that the people of this state have rejected the government made up of bargains and bids. The results of the by-election on November 10 will prove this.
