He expressed deep gratitude to the soldiers whose sacrifices brought pride to India, stating, "We are proud of our Army."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid homage to the courageous heroes of the 1971 war, acknowledging their sacrifices that secured a decisive win for India. He praised their valor and unwavering commitment, recognizing their enduring legacy in India's history.
