Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan speaks to VP on flood situation

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan spoke with Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday. In the conversation, the CM updated the Vice President  about the situation and relief work regarding floods in Shivpuri, Sheopur, Gwalior, and Datia districts of Madhya Pradesh. The CM Chouhan informed the vice president that Madhya Pradesh police and various other central forces are working tirelessly to evacuate the people and providing them with the necessary help.

On August 3, the CM Chouhan had spoken to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who assured all possible help to the flood-hit state. While on August 4, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Chauhan and assured all possible help to the flood-affected state.

The Vice president expressed his concerns for the people affected due to floods and I thank the vice president for his concerns regarding the situation, tweeted Chouhan.  Notably, The Chief Minister is constantly monitoring the flood-affected areas. Information about the rescue operation and instructions are being given to secure people, send them to relief camps, arrange food, clothes.
