Bhopal: Rain has started wreaking havoc in Madhya Pradesh. Several districts have been flooded and many people have lost their lives due to this flood. On the one hand, the property is being damaged, on the other hand, loss of life is also taking place. So far, 69 people have been killed and 24 injured in lightning strikes. As per the information received, power has also fallen in several States so far and it has caused loss of life and property. On the other hand, state revenue minister Govind Rajput says, "22 villages in Shivpuri Sheopur are currently flooded. The Air Force evacuated 11 people yesterday. 70 teams of SDERF three NDERF teams are engaged in the rescue operation.''
Apart from this, in a conversation with a famous website, he also told that 'So far about 1171 villages have been affected in Shivpuri, Sheopur, Datia, Gwalior, Bhind Rewa due to excessive rains and floods in the state, while so far in this monsoon season. A total of 11 people have died. So far this monsoon season, 58 people have lost their lives due to lightning, while 24 people have been injured.'
In addition, the Revenue Minister also informed that "A total of 174 animal losses have been reported so far. While 32 houses have been damaged this monsoon season, partly 840 houses have been damaged. The Government is doing everything possible to assess the damage.'' He further said, "People in villages affected by heavy rains and floods have been asked to remain vigilant. The Government is worried about them. Relief camps have been instructed to arrange food. You must be aware that the rivers and drains have overflowed due to rain in MP, and the lower settlements have been flooded, blocking traffic.''
