7 shops gutted in Khandwa midnight, victims say fire set under conspiracy

Khandwa: A fire broke out in seven shops in Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh in the morning. The incident took place near Jalebi Chowk, the most sensitive area of the city. After receiving the news of the fire, the district administration and firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. But by the time the shops were completely gutted by the fire. Shopkeepers say that the fire was set by someone as part of a conspiracy. However, the cause of the fire is not yet clear.  

Seven shops were badly burnt near Mahadev Garh Temple at Jalebi Chowk, a sensitive area of Khandwa town. Fire department vehicles including shopkeepers and policemen rushed to the spot after receiving information about the fire in the shops. After which an attempt was made to control the fire. It is being told that the fire started around 3  am to 3:30 am. The shopkeepers whose shops have been burnt say that the shops have been deliberately burnt. The shopkeepers said that oil was lying on the tyres of the truck kept nearby. Kerosene and petrol smelled from near the shops. From which it is suspected that someone has committed the act of arson in a conspiracy. He said that anti-social elements are trying to disturb the peace of Khandwa.  

Of the seven shops that caught fire, most of them are motor garage shops. In which arch repairing, baring repairing, tire repairing, etc. One of these shops is also the trailing shop. CSP Lalit Gathre, who rushed to the spot, said that in the morning, there was news that some shops had caught fire. Immediately, police and firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. Seven shops were on fire. Why these shops caught fire or who set it on fire is also being investigated. CSP Lalit Gathre said the forensic team is investigating. Action will be taken according to whatever facts come out in the investigation. It's too early to say anything.
