Maharashtra Assembly elections: Shiv Sena chief claims CM post

Mumbai: The date for assembly elections in Maharashtra has been announced. In such a situation, the political parties of the state have become aggressive about the election. There is no seat sharing between the ruling BJP and Shiv Sena alliance in the state so far. The Shiv Sena wants more seats in the state and is also focused on the post of Chief Minister. A statement by Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has further heated up the case. Uddhav Thackeray stated clearly that his party will not give up the claim of the post of Chief Minister if they win by fighting together.

After this statement by Thackeray, there has been renewed speculation about the alliance between BJP Shiv Sena. Earlier on Thursday, a senior BJP leader claimed that BJP would contest 144 and Shiv Sena 126 seats and that the post of Deputy Chief Minister would be given to Shiv Sena if voted to power. The Shiv Sena chief had called a meeting of the contenders and all district heads of all 288 assembly seats in the state at Rang Sharda auditorium.

It was being said that the BJP is waiting for the paternal side to end before making any election announcement. In this way, it is also increasing the wait for Shiv Sena. To this, the Shiv Sena chief said that the party was not founded by looking at any Muhurta. On one side, the country is sending Chandrayaan, looking for water on Mars, but even today we are extracting the Mangal Muhurta by looking at the magazine.

Rejecting the claim of Shiv Sena to the post of CM, he said that at the last moment he had promised to Bala Saheb that one day I will definitely seat Shiv Sainik on the post of Chief Minister. Have vowed to fulfill this promise. If Shiv Sainiks are with him, he can take the decision of his own accord.
