Maharashtra govt reduces COVID RT-PCR test rates for around Rs 280

Mumbai: The Uddhav government in Maharashtra has made a big announcement regarding the corona test. Indeed, they say that now the RT-PCR test rate in Maharashtra will be Rs 700 instead of Rs 980. However, this is the sixth time when the state government has reduced the RT-PCR test rate. At the same time, the decision will be given to close the jumbo Covid-19 facilities by the first week in the month of January. It is being told that BMC has started its exercise too.

However, from the first week of December, there has been a decline in the Corona case in Mumbai, although jumbo Covid-19 facilities will be operational within two days if needed. However, in view of Corona, jumbo Covid-19 facilities have been provided in every ward. On the other hand, a BMC official recently said in a conversation with a website that the decision on the major facilities will be taken in the first week of January 2021.

Apart from this, it is also being said that there will be a meeting in the first week of January, which will decide which facilities need to be closed. Talking about this, Municipal Commissioner Suresh Kakani said that, 'Even though the facilities have been kept on stand-by, they have also been instructed to be ready within 48 hours of the notice. Large facilities are not placed on stand-by. '
