New Delhi: Today, the holy festival of Mahashivaratri is being celebrated all over the country. This festival is celebrated every year with great pomp and show. Mahashivratri is also known as the 'Great night of Lord Shiva' and is a Hindu festival observed by devotees from Kashmir to Kanyakumari with much fervor. Everywhere people are reaching to perform special worship to Lord Shiva. There is a huge crowd of devotees outside the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi amid the slogans of 'Bum Bum Bhole.'
