Madhya Pradesh: Congress on Wednesday said the party will observe one year of the fall of Kamal Nath government on March 20 as “Respect for Democracy Day”.

state vice-president and organization in-charge of the Congress Chandra Prabhash Shekhar said, “After 15 years, people of Madhya Pradesh decided to change the regime and bring a Congress government led by Kamal Nath to power.”

The reason is that in order to topple an elected government by the people in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP has put the core of the constitution in danger. He told that on March 20, the Congress will go to the public. During this time, we will tell people what public-friendly decisions the Kamalnath government had taken in 15 months.

On this day, the Congress will tell about the loan waiver of the Kamal Nath government, the campaign against the land mafia. Also, decisions that were taken by the Kamal Nath government such as the construction of Gaushala, cheap electricity, increase in OBC reservation, expansion and development of Ram Van Gaman Path and Mahakal and Omkareshwar temple complex will be highlighted. He said that although 20 March will be known as Black Day, but Black Day should be celebrated by those who do blackwork.

A video message of Kamal Nath will also be broadcast on this day. Please tell that senior leader Jyotiraditya Scindia rebelled against the Congress. Along with Scindia, 22 MLAs joined the BJP. For this reason, on 20 March 2020, the Kamal Nath government was reduced to a minority.
