New Delhi: Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has returned after spending time with the Territorial Army Unit. Dhoni is currently in the national capital with his wife Sakshi and daughter Jeeva. Dhoni took a break after a world cup semi-final against New Zealand and spent two weeks with 106 TA Battalion (Para) in Jammu. Dhoni, who was a lieutenant colonel in the Territorial Army, ended his duty on August 15. Dhoni was posted in the Kashmir Valley as part of the Victor Force and was responsible for patrolling, guard and post duty. Dhoni later appeared in Ladakh on the eve of the 73rd Independence Day and played cricket with his children. The pictures also went viral on social media. In his absence, Rishabh Pant played the wicket keeper-baller for Team India. Pant was part of the team during the T20 one-day match against the West Indies. Dhoni is now expected to return to the series against South Africa. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the most successful captain of the Indian team.
