New Delhi: After a long period of confusion, the BCCI-appointed Cricket Advisory Committee appointed Ravi Shastri as the coach of the team. His tenure was for the ICC World Cup 2019, which was extended by 45 days for the West Indies tour. Team India's race to coach the team was a tough fight between three men, including former Australian cricketer Tom Moody and New Zealand's Mike Hesson in the semi-finals of the 2015 World Cup.
